Marco Corridoni presents FIXED Fontana no.10, a 2026 original, unique piece in the FIXED Fontana series, mixed media on canvas with leather and metal, 50 × 100 cm, signed on the back, certificate photographed included, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
FIXED Fontana - no.10/100 (2026)
water-based painting on canvas, leather, metal
50x100cm
UNIQUE and ORIGINAL WORK
Sixth copy of the new FIXED series - only 100 numbered works in this series.
Special edition of the 'Fixed Fontana' series with a color palette unseen in the artist's production.
The artist draws inspiration from Lucio Fontana's spatial concepts to rewrite art history, through a manipulation of his artistic poetics, suspended between citation and desecration.
The cuts are sewn up, symbolically, to shorten the space rather than 'opening' it.
Expectations are disappointed, almost as a sign of protest against a way of making and selling art that has little or nothing to do with the originality and essence of art itself.
The canvases are prepared in the style of Fontana, and the cuts, strictly made by hand by the artist, echo those of his most famous works.
Each cut is fixed with a black canvas on the back, just as documented by Lucio Fontana: this gives stability to the work and a refined aesthetic effect.
Work signed on the back
Photographic certification included
Frame available to order separately.
