African Twist by Vale is an original acrylic painting in multicolour, 65 × 65 cm, dated 2025, sold with a premium wooden frame, signed in the lower right and originating from Portugal.
Description from the seller
Vale developed her artistic work, in a first phase, self-taught, but she soon realized it is a passion that needs to be developed with other painters. She joined the National Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon, where she develops her art first with the Painter Gonçalo Ruivo and then with the Master Painter Jaime Silva.
Today, in your paintings, you seek to provoke reflection, exposing contradictions, bringing some surrealism to the approach and, at times, some absurdity that is no less surreal than contemporary reality. Your paintings are not mere scenes with a strong aesthetic charge, but rather stories that give you something to think about. Stories still to be told!
African Twist is the improbable made probable. It is a window onto irreconcilable opposites, forced to coexist under the power of whim.
Acrylic painting on canvas, it is framed in the dimensions 65 x 65 cm in a premium wooden frame with a matte black interior and an antique gold edge. The canvas is signed in the lower right corner. The frame is officially registered with IGAC under number 212/2026.
