The 43mm diameter of the polished steel case gives the dial room to express its ode to simplicity. The small seconds at 6 o’clock with a semicircular graduation is the only freedom this opus takes, the rhodium-plated hand indicating seconds from 0 to 30, the red hand those from 30 to 60. The 'clous de Paris' decoration, echoed on the movement and on the black rubber strap, evokes the great watchmaking tradition and engraves the TAG Heuer CARRERA CALIBRE 1 VINTAGE into the history of the timepiece. The straps are interchangeable in black alligator or organic black rubber.

With meticulous attention to aesthetic detail, from the hand-applied indices and logo, to the double anti-reflective treatment of the sapphire crystal, and the polished hands, the finesse of the mechanical movement is revealed through the transparent case back.
