Jean Crotti (1878-1958), naturalized French in 1927, "had an interesting activity in the Dada movement, from 1916 to 1927. In 1921, he exhibited works of mechanistic inspiration. Attracted by Futurism and Orphism, he called himself simultaneist and demanded the introduction of time into the structure of the painting. A substantial monograph was devoted to him by M.
