Chevrolet Corvette C5 Targa from 2000 with a 5.7 L V8 producing 345 HP and automatic transmission, located in the Netherlands.
Description from the seller
General:
This Corvette is often described as the finest model Chevrolet released after the C1.
V8 engine 5.7 L LS1 with no less than 345 HP! and a 4L60-E automatic.
GENERAL:
Chevrolet Corvette C5 Targa from 2000, equipped with the reliable 5.7L V8 and automatic transmission. This car comes from Arizona and has always been carefully kept. The Corvette is largely still in its original paint, with the exception of the front bumper which was repainted due to sun discoloration. It is a well-preserved, rust-free car from Arizona, United States. The car is fully original and imported to Europe.
PAINTWORK:
The paint is exceptionally neat and largely original. The bodywork presents itself tight and representative for its age. Only the front bumper has been overpainted due to discoloration, but it blends well with the overall appearance of the car. There is no rust or major damage. (there is a scratch above the rear license plate)
INTERIOR:
The interior is finished in classic red/gray leather and is in neat condition. Everything is electrically operable, including windows, seats and mirrors. The dashboard is well preserved and all gauges function properly. (only the indicated odometer reading occasionally faults)
TECHNICAL:
The Corvette drives, shifts and brakes well. Technically, the car has been well maintained and several parts have recently been renewed. The overall driving experience is as you would expect from a classic American sports car. (with a great sound)
DOCUMENTS:
The car is supplied with the original American (USA) title and the full European import documents. All import taxes have been paid. In addition, the original manuals are included. A **Carfax report** is also available, verifying the honest history of the car. (a small damage was reported in 2010)
PICK-UP:
The car can be viewed and picked up by appointment in Damwoude, Netherlands. If desired, we can assist with transport across Europe.
OTHER INFORMATION:
This Corvette is 36 years old, which means there is always room for small improvements or personal modifications. Although the car is in good driving condition, it is currently not approved for use on public roads. The car is supplied with an American title, which means it still needs to be registered in the destination country.
DOCUMENTATION:
The car is supplied with:
– All original booklets
– A very extensive Carfax report
– USA Title and Dutch import documents
– All taxes for Europe have already been paid
This makes the vehicle fully imported and ready for registration.
OTHER:
The car is currently offered with an American Title, which means it has not yet been approved for use on public roads in the Netherlands or the EU.
We can, if desired, assist you with transport across Europe.
Although we strive to describe our vehicles as honestly and accurately as possible, they are used cars. Therefore, there may always be small points of attention or signs of use. If in doubt, we recommend visiting the car in person.
LOCATION:
The car is viewable and can be picked up in Damwoude, Netherlands.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
