Description from the seller
Elastolin Hausser – Rare exotic/colonial figure – composition – circa 1935–1945 (marked)
Description
Original and collectible exotic/colonial composition figure from Elastolin (Hausser, Germany), produced in the period circa 1935–1945.
This figure clearly deviates from standard German infantry and is dressed with a turban/headscarf, cross-straps, and civilian/paramilitary clothing, as Elastolin produced for colonial, Middle Eastern, or exotic themes. This type was produced in significantly smaller quantities and is therefore harder to find.
The darker color scheme is original and the result of authentic painting and natural aging (patina) — no later repainting.
