Description from the seller
"JACOB" is an oil painting in a classical style. In 2000 everything began with a drawing. At that time I was still living in the Netherlands (10 years) and studied Golden Age painting in the museums of the Netherlands. The drawing was created by a boy named Jacob and was then forgotten for years. It rested peacefully in my drawing folder. In 2020 I began to convert the drawing into oil painting. - and here is the result. The painting measures 100 x 80 x 4 cm and sits in a blue shadow-gap frame made of oak wood. A one-of-a-kind piece.
My paintings are around the world: USA (New York, Phoenix, Miami, Springfield, Santa Barbara), Canada (Montreal), Singapore, Taipei, Finland, Italy, Spain, France, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Austria, Luxembourg and many places in Germany.
Exhibitions: national and international.
Multiple award winner in the field of communications
with my fellow student Peter Lindbergh.
And Uwe Manthey.
