Description from the seller

Very pretty eighteenth-century pewter plate.

On the plate we have heraldic motifs as well as a salamander, an animal frequently used in heraldic culture.

The hallmark is an angel of justice, common in the eighteenth century, with monograms.

Another mark features the Tudor rose from the eighteenth century with the initials N D C. This is Nicolas Decamp, master goldsmith of the late eighteenth century, working in Liège.

The plate is in good condition, just a tiny crack in the pewter.
