Quintodecimo's Giallo d'Arles, produced by the famous winemaker Luigi Moio, is an excellent Greek by Tufo DOCG from Irpinia (Campania), known for its exceptional structure and complexity, comparable to a red wine in intensity. This white, which takes its name from the color loved by Van Gogh, is characterized by a golden yellow, notes of ripe fruit (peach, quince) and strong minerality. Manufacturer: Quintodecimo (Mirabella Eclano, AV). Grape variety: 100% Greco di Tufo, from vineyards in the Santa Lucia district to Tufo. Characteristics: Golden yellow color, intense aromas of yellow fruit, citrus fruits (cedar), white flowers and field herbs. On the palate it is powerful, savory and persistent. Vinification/Aging: Fermentation and aging (about 10 months) in steel with a part (about 30%) in barrique. Pairings: Excellent with structured dishes of fish, shellfish, white meats, medium-aged cheeses and spicy oriental cuisine.
