Description from the seller
Aket's growing importance in the art world was further solidified when he was selected by Coca-Cola for their global MASTERPIECE campaign, as well as for the 8.6 limited edition urban art campaign, thus confirming his status as a leading figure in artistic circles. Aket Kubic continues to pursue an experimental and playful approach to art, using his creations to explore and present personalities and subjects with a style reminiscent of Cubism. His unique perspective on everyday life and Cubism, combined with his playful experimentation, secures him a prominent place in contemporary art.
As an admirer of Bernard Buffet's work, I have chosen to revisit the theme of clowns.
Bernard Buffet, a renowned 20th-century painter, is known for his distinctive style marked by angular forms and often dark colors.
Among his iconic works, the clowns hold a special place.
As I revisit Buffet's clowns, I aspire to capture this duality: the joy and sadness that coexist in human existence.
My approach is to integrate contemporary elements while respecting the essence of the work, and the dialogue between the past and the present is increasingly present in my work.
One of the last small formats of 2025
Matte varnish (non-yellowing, heat- and UV-light-resistant).
Mounting bracket, ready to be hung.
Authenticity guaranteed by signature and certificate of authenticity
