AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Glass advertising sign from a lightbox of tobacco manufacturer Van Nelle.
The lightbox hadn’t met the standards for 34 years ago already, so it’s not included.
This glass pane comes from a former tobacco shop and hung behind the counter.
At the time (around 1992) the brother of a friend bought this house and I got it after helping him.
At home I made a few strips against the wall as a niche and a regular fluorescent tube and later an LED strip screwed to the wall.
There are 2 round holes in the glass pane that could be used, but I wouldn’t do it—the holes are original and kept the panel with rods in place; it’s reasonably heavy as a glass advertising sign and fragile.
There are some damages, but it’s a separate item.
I suspect the glass pane is from the 1970s or 1980s, but I’m not sure; I haven’t been able to find any information.
The orange colors of the letters “Van Nelle” don’t show well in the photo but are clearly visible in real life.
