This book explores the Film-stills of Ernst Haas, who transcend the Boundaries between Photography and Moving image. He inscribed a temporal, Filmic Dimension into his stills which, viewed in a sequence, generate Movement and Narrative.

¶ Ernst Haas (1921-1986) was an Austrian-American Photojournalist and Color-photographer. During his 40-year career Haas trod the line between Photojournalism and Art-photography. He reexplored Abstract Design and extended his Exploration of Colour to Achieve almost Impressionistic Effects. He also served as President of the legendary Photo Agency Magnum.
