In Interrupt, I explore the tension between serenity and disruption. A luminous pink ground sets the stage for sudden eruptions of blue and purple, applied with a dynamic splatter technique. These gestures break the calm surface, evoking the unexpected moments that fracture rhythm and thought. The composition balances openness with density, inviting viewers to reflect on interruption as both disturbance and renewal. Colour becomes a language of emotional resonance: pink as softness, blue as depth, purple as mystery. This painting belongs to my ongoing series investigating rhythm, difference, and belonging through abstract gesture. Each work is conceived as a dialogue between control and spontaneity, silence and interruption.
