Description from the seller
Nude
Keisuke Nagatomo
Hagashoten/1971/Japanese/118*183*33
This book is a collection of catalog works published on the occasion of the “Great Nude Photo Exhibition” held in 1971 as part of an exhibition (APA Exhibition) organized by the Japan Advertising Photographers' Association. The subtitle of the book is "The Great Exhibition of Contemporary Nude Photography Selected from 3,000 Cameras. While there are many collections of records such as camera yearbooks and exhibition catalogs that cannot be evaluated as “art collections,” this one was published by Haga Shoten, which published many photo books at the time, and the binding and layout were done by master art directors Keisuke Nagatomo and K2 (Seitaro Kuroda), so it is well worth a look. The book is packed full of spectacular images. Of course, the book includes many well-known photographers, including Kishin Shinoyama, Shotaro Akiyama, Takashi Kijima, Yuji Hayata, Shoya Nakamura, Takamasa Inamura, Noriaki Kano, Shinpei Asai, Kazumi Kurigami, Masayoshi Sukita, Hiromi Tsuchida, Masaru Taniguchi, Takeshi Nagao, Yojiro Adachi, Sachiko Kudome, and many more. Color is also included, but mainly black-and-white and gravure printing is used.
