Description from the seller

GENERAL:

This beautiful Porsche 911 traces its origins to 1998 and belongs to the 996 generation, the successor to the 993. The 996 was introduced as a revolutionary 911 and marked a new era in Porsche’s history. This car was built in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and delivered new in 1998 by Porsche Nürnberg. In 2001 the car was imported to the Netherlands.

Back then, the 911 had a new price of €134,856. The car is equipped with a 3.4-liter six-cylinder petrol engine with a power output of 221 kW (301 hp) and a displacement of 3,387 cc. The top speed is 275 km/h and the 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved in about 6 seconds.

BODYWORK & PAINT:

The Porsche is still fully in its original paint, finished in the factory color ‘Silbermetallic 80/80’. The paint presents itself neatly and originally, without noticeable damage or peculiarities. The car is in a well-kept and fair condition.

MECHANICAL:

The 300 hp engine in combination with the 5-speed automatic provides the ultimate driving experience. The car has received all necessary maintenance from a young age.

At 107,000 kilometers the engine was rebuilt. The engine runs well and has correct compression and oil pressure. The gearbox is in good condition and shifts smoothly and without abnormal noises through all gears.

The car will be delivered with a new inspection (keuring).

INTERIOR:

The interior is completely original and finished in ‘Schwarz/Blau’ leather. The dashboard is clean and neat, and the full leather interior is in a well-kept state. Everything exudes the typical 911 atmosphere of the late 1990s.

DOCUMENTS & EXTRAS:

The car is supplied with two original keys and the original spare wheel. For sales outside the Netherlands we can assist in arranging export documents.

PICK-UP:

The Porsche can be viewed and picked up in Almelo, Netherlands.

OTHER INFORMATION:

A very nice and original Porsche 911 (996) with rebuilt engine, correct history and in a beautiful classic color combination. A sporty and timeless 911 for the enthusiast.

To be picked up in Almelo, Netherlands.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
