Description from the seller
This work by Max Kreyn depicts a still life of a bowl with mangosteens.
After several years of studying architecture at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Kreyn continued his education in Monumental Art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Subsequently he took lessons under, among others, R.B. Kitaj and David Hockney at the Royal College of Art in London. After his studies, he first moved to the island of Ibiza and then to Assisi and Florence, where he devoted himself intensively to painting. For over forty years the artist lived and worked in various countries, including Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Portugal, Thailand, Argentina and Australia. This international background and broad artistic training are reflected in his work, in which architecture, atmosphere and personal experience come together.
Dimensions: 77 x 58 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house frame-making workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we work with restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
