Sony - tts-3000 Turntable

Sony TTS 3000. This beautiful arm comes with SME. With VN 35he stylus tor 15 type 111. RARE SONY TTS-3000 TURNTABLE incl SONY TAC 3 cabinet A very rare player, this Sony TTS-3000 turntable in NEAR MINT condition. The cabinet, the SONY, is also in absolute NEAR MINT NEW CONDITION. Sony manufactured this type of player from 1966 to 1971. This was the very first servo-controlled turntable. The player is equipped with a strobe and pitch control. Turntable set to 220 volts. The player is equipped with the original Sony-signed mat with anti-slip profile. The belt was replaced on October 19, 2023. Pitch control and strobe work perfectly. The TTS3000 uses a low-speed servo-controlled motor to drive the platter. The use of a low-speed motor (300 rpm) eliminates much of the noise and rumbling associated with mechanical speed reduction systems. This unique servo system effectively compares the motor speed with a highly stable frequency reference. Any error in the motor speed results in a correction of the current supplied to the motor. The speed reference is completely independent of external influences, and the line frequency is only used to power the strobe light. The 100-volt plug has been replaced with a 220-volt plug. You will receive an original Sony-branded plug (Japan) free of charge. Because this turntable is now set to 220 volts, it can be used throughout Europe without a converter. The 45 rpm setting needs to be adjusted, but I don't know how. It works, though. But it's too loud. There's a screw on the bottom, see photo, set to 45 rpm. Copy of manual included. Will be securely packaged and shipped insured. Specifications, see also last photo Platter: cast aluminum, Ø 30cm / 1.5kg Motor: Servo-controlled DC motor # D-502F Speeds: 33 1/3 & 45 rpm Speed control: Pitch control range: ± 5% Drive system: polyurethane belt drive Belt reduction ratio: 10:1 Wow & flutter: less than 0.05% (RMS) S/N ratio: more than 60 dB Start response: within 1s.ec Power: 100, 117, 220 and 240 Volt / 50/60 Hz / 4 Watt.
