Tudor Prince Date Chronograph Panda model 79280 from 2002, stainless steel 40 mm case with a white dial, automatic Valjoux 7750 movement, steel band, panda bezel and screw‑down pushers in very good condition with minor wear.
Description from the seller
Who needs a Daytona? This Tudor Prince Chronograph has all the features to rival the unattainable Rolex – a crisp lacquer dial with a panda configuration, the famous “Units Per Hour” bezel, and screw-down pushers. The best part? It costs a fraction of the price.
The steel bezel and screw-down pushers give it a rugged look. In addition, the case measures 40mm, which is perfect for any wrist. As the pictures show, it has very minor wear marks.
The serial number dates it to 2002, meaning it was one of the first watches without the Tiger inscription. It also comes fitted with a sapphire crystal and a thinner case, unlike its predecessor. This makes it a lot more wearable and a better everyday piece, in my opinion.
It’ll fit a 6.8-inch (17.2 cm) wrist with the links included. Check the last photos to see how it looks on my wrist. Fortunately, links aren’t hard to find, as these watches were produced from the 90s until 2007.
Condition: Very good with minor usage markings. Some wear on the clasp and caseback. See detailed photos for full condition and clarity.
Reference: 79280
Case Size: 40 x 48.3mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 14mm and a lug width of 20mm.
Crystal: Sapphire
Movement: Valjoux 7750, automatic with chronograph function and date. Service history is unknown, but it’s running strong.
- Watch only
- Serial dates it to 2002
- Fits a wrist up to 6.8 inches (17.2 cm)
