John Andrew Perello, aka Jonone, Jonone or Jon156, is an American graffiti artist and painter, born in 1963 in New York.
Founder of the 156 All Starz, he settled in Paris toward the late 1980s.
Growing up in Harlem, JonOne learned his craft tagging trains and the walls of his neighborhood from the age of seventeen. Self-taught, he would later move from urban surfaces to canvas, on which he would be exhibited around the world. His works are clearly influenced by his personal experiences, shaped by hip hop, the street and the subway, as well as by the codes of modern painting.
