Circa 1880. Six large watercolour designs by D. Samyn, a Belgian decorator, for interior design projects. The names and towns of the recipients / project are written onto most of the boards, and they are all located in Belgium. Not dated, but from the appearance about 1880, if not earlier. Painted onto Canson & Montgolfier thick card water colour board. The cards are about 4/5 mm thick. The images are done by an excellent hand. Condition is very good, although a little bumped to the edges. Some marking and darkening to the designs. There is some water staining to the rear of the boards (not affecting images). There are pinholes to some of the boards where they have been hung. A nice architectural / interior design collection. 38 x 46cm.
