A wonderful Swedish silver napkin holder in a beautiful open-work Baroque style, made in 1948 by Carl Gustaf Hallberg. The front and back are identical, decorated with rich scrollwork and floral motifs in pierced openwork. The decorative flow, symmetry, and relief work give it a luxurious look. Stamped with C.G.H. for Carl Gustaf Hallberg, the Swedish three crowns, S, M for Malmö, and X8 for 1948. Condition: Lovely condition with light patina that beautifully highlights the details. The silver has a lovely shine and the openwork is crisp. Overall, looks fantastic.
