Description from the seller
Lisandro Ramacciotti was born in Viareggio in 1950, where he still lives and works. He began painting from a very young age, but it was around his thirties that he began participating in group exhibitions. 1981 marks his first solo show, where he enjoyed a reasonable success. This was followed by several solo exhibitions mainly in Italy and in Paris. Numerous works are held in Italian, French, German, Belgian, Spanish, and Dutch collections, demonstrating that his art is universally recognized. He is famous for his suggestive female portraits that evoke appreciation and recognition wherever they are shown. Several critics have written about him, including Tommaso Paloscia, Giuseppe Cordoni, Paolo Fornaciari, and others.
