Description from the seller

Two multi-lobed vases with three large openings at the top. This type was used for flowers, pens, matches, or sometimes potpourri.
One vase bears the inscription "Vive Labeur".
One vase bears the inscription "Jehanne D'Arc".
Both vases have been used in the past and show slight edge wear and/or glaze damage.

The inscriptions refer to a pro-French royalist sentiment; around the 19th century these inscriptions were used as a national symbol.

The vases can be shipped by post or picked up.
