Description from the seller

This refined porcelain tea and coffee service stands out for its recherché aesthetic that fuses the elegance of an octagonal form with a clearly Imari-inspired decoration. The set, presented on a large coordinating tray with shaped edges, strikes with a strong color contrast between the pristine white background and the wide cobalt blue bands or deep black, enriched by a rich polychromy of floral motifs in rust, coral and green tones. The decoration is further nobled by gilded scrolls and ornamental details that recall the Liberty style.

The service appears complete with its main elements: a slender teapot, a two-handled sugar bowl, a milk jug, and two cups with their saucers, all unified by the coherence of a decoration of stylized roses and gilded friezes.

The excellent state of preservation visible and the shine of the display case make this lot not only a high-class everyday object, but also a visually striking furnishing item, perfect for collectors of eclectic porcelain or for those who want to add a touch of opulence to their table.
