Description from the seller
Set of three glass "Sunflower" candlesticks – Göran Wärff for Kosta Boda, Sweden, 1970s
Set of three solid clear glass candlesticks, model "Sunflower", designed by Göran Wärff for Kosta Boda, Sweden, 1970s.
Each piece rests on a narrower base that widens gradually toward the top. The upper part is formed by adjacent vertical elements, ending at different heights, creating a dynamic relief and a silhouette reminiscent of a stylized crown.
The thick glass gives the whole a solid, sculptural presence. Once the candle is lit, the light reveals the depth of the material.
Suitable for candles of about 2 cm in diameter.
Condition: very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks.
Dimensions (each):
Height: 11 cm
Diameter: 8.5 cm
A decorative set typical of 1970s Swedish glass design, at the crossroads of modernism and a soft brutalist aesthetic.
