Description from the seller
LITHUANIA. 2 Litu. 1925.
- Value: 2 Litu.
- Year: 1925.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: LIETUVOS RESPUBLIKA. Reverse: 2 DULITU.
- Grade: AU58 (NGC).
2 Litu silver coin featuring an equestrian representation of the Vytis, a knight armed and galloping to the left with sword raised and heraldic shield, a traditional symbol of the Lithuanian state. The design presents a dynamic style and strong relief, with good detail in the horse’s anatomy and the folds of the attire. On the reverse, the value 2 DULITU appears centered within a stylized vegetal wreath, executed cleanly and balanced. The specimen retains abundant original luster in the fields and reliefs, with very slight wear on the highest points in line with its AU58 grade, maintaining a very attractive and uniform visual presence.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (e.g., Canary Islands), it might be stopped at your local customs and you might be asked to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
