Nickel alloy coin belonging to the late-1930s Chinese Republican series. The obverse features a realistic, sober portrait of Sun Yat-sen, with good facial modeling and firm relief, characteristic of the political iconography of the Republican era. The reverse shows a bold geometric design with strong symbolic character, with the value expressed by traditional characters and a well-defined decorative border. Example with notable original luster, clean fields and uniform light patina, with slight surface marks in keeping with the grade, offering a balanced and attractive visual presence.
