Siberin - Francesco Turrini - Bedside table lamp (2) - Aurora - ABS

Pair of bedside or wall lamps made of ABS in the refined brown tortoise shell color.

This model, named Aurora, is extremely rare and was produced in Italy by Siberin of Caronno Pertusella (VA) in the Space Age heyday, at the end of the 1960s, for a very limited period as a trial by its owner, Francesco Turrini (born 1940), who still today leads the company specialized in the production of refrigeration equipment.

Designed as table lamps, they were produced with article code 126 and prepared to be mounted on a wall as well (applique). In some close-up photos, images from Siberin’s catalog of the period have been depicted.

Excellent condition, practically like new (NOS: New Old Stock) because they have been stored for almost 60 years in Siberin’s warehouse in Caronno Pertusella, so they may show only small signs due to storage.

They take small E14 bulbs (not included) - max 40 watts.

IMPORTANT: the lamps are still wrapped and have only been opened to be tested!
Each comes with the wall-mount instruction sheet and the original Siberin box (see last image) that contained them and in which they will be shipped. The box shown in the last image is offered as a gift and will be protected with black luggage-grade cellophane for extra protection during transport.
