An elegant neoclassical jewelry box crafted entirely in solid marble, mounted with brass trim and resting on finely cast lion paw feet. The proportions and restrained ornamentation reflect the classical revival taste popular in the late 19th century.

The rectangular body is executed in pale, subtly veined marble with warm natural inclusions, giving the piece a refined architectural presence. It stands on four sculptural gilt-brass lion paw feet, a motif strongly associated with Empire and Neoclassical decorative arts. A delicate brass molding frames the lid and base, while the interior is lined in vibrant red felt, creating a striking contrast against the cool marble exterior.

The hinged lid opens and closes securely. The hinge is slightly bent and would benefit from careful professional adjustment or restoration, though it remains functional. There is minor wear to the felt in one interior corner, consistent with age and use. Overall, the piece presents in good antique condition.
