This chrome Art Deco coat rack from Bauhaus is very aesthetically pleasing in design and detailed with beautifully shaped mounting plates and subtle scrollwork.

This coat rack was produced by Bauhaus.
Bauhaus was a school for visual artists, craftsmen and architects that existed from 1919 to 1933, first in Weimar, later in Dessau and then for another six months in Berlin.

The coat rack has a swiveling mirror and is equipped with a total of 12 hanging hooks, of which 7 are double and 4 single; these can be moved relative to one another.

The hat shelf consists of 4 bars.

The coat rack is otherwise in very good condition; one screw on the back has broken off, but this does not affect the sturdiness of the coat rack.
