Description from the seller
Work mounted on a frame
“Unforgivable,” oil on canvas 50x70, 2026.
From the Lux series
If the author of a work of art feels the need to explain it, it is a sign that it is incomplete. ~ Alessandro Morandotti, Minime, 1979/80
Giuseppe Pastore, an Italian artist born in 1980, discovered painting at 30, without formal training, but holding a physics degree. His scientific background, nature, and martial arts deeply influence his creativity. He began with acrylic in an action painting style, then turned to oil and evolved toward abstract and three‑dimensional compositions. He uses titanium white to explore light and depth in his Lux series… recently, light is in the spotlight. He experiments with styles such as pointillism and 3D effects, without following precise artistic models, while admiring passionate creators. Inspired by classical music, nature, and cosmic phenomena, he also practices photography and piano. Art helps him meet his personal challenges and express beauty through form and color. He avoids rigid planning, letting inspiration guide him, while constantly perfecting his technique and output. His work follows four distinct compositional paths, each aimed at eliciting an immediate aesthetic response.
