This hand-knotted Oriental rug in the classic Bukhara design features the characteristic Turkmen gul pattern, arranged in regular rows across the entire field.

The field is in a warm red tone and is characterized by several large, octagonal gul motifs, arranged in vertical rows. These traditional Turkmen ornaments are finely worked, giving the rug a clear, symmetrical structure. The calm repetition of the motifs creates a very harmonious overall impression.

The surrounding border consists of multiple decorative frames with small geometric ornaments and classical Turkmen patterns. Dark brown and black tones form a strong contrast to the red field, underscoring the rug’s traditional character.
