Andreas Junge (1959-2009) - Ohne Titel

Andreas Junge (born 1959 in Wuppertal, died 2009) was a German artist. He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and was there a Master Student of A. R. Penck.

In his artistic work Junge worked with different media, including drawing, painting, and sculpture. His works often display an expressive visual language with reduced figurative forms and bold lines. The representations move partly between representational and abstract elements.

Themewise, many of his works address aspects of human experience, social situations as well as personal and psychological questions. The visual language is at times direct and formally reduced.
