Antique mirror in 900 sterling silver from Turkey, dated 1850–1900, measuring 11 × 9 cm with a thickness of about 1 cm and weighing 66 g, featuring a raised floral decoration and a suspension chain.

Courting/marriage mirror in 900 silver – Middle East / India – 20th century
Elegant decorative mirror made of 900 silver, featuring a rich floral relief decoration finely crafted.
Objects of this type were traditionally used in various cultures of the Middle East and South Asia, particularly in Persian, Indian, and Turkish areas, as a symbolic gift during wedding ceremonies or as an ornamental object.
The surface presents elaborate floral and vegetal motifs chased, typical of traditional craftsmanship of the mid-20th century. At the top there is a suspension chain, which allows the object to be displayed on a wall.
In the center there is the "900" punch mark, indicating an alloy of 900/1000 silver.
