This originally Italian-delivered Mini is in very good rust-free condition, coming from the 2nd owner who has maintained it in detail. This is a unique opportunity! The mileage is only 39,400 km (readings).
This original Rover Mini Cooper was released by Mini in 1992 with a powerful 1275cc Cooper engine, contrasting roof and mirrors, and was at the time the most sought-after Mini available. You rarely see this color! It was only built for the Italian market. This edition is unique and a very valuable investment.
Beautiful platinum grey paint with black roof and original Cooper interior.
The 1275cc Cooper engine was completely rebuilt in 2024, the engine was completely dismantled, pistons replaced, honed and the cylinder head skimmed, the engine block skimmed and everything rebuilt with new parts. The gearbox has also been rebuilt, the Mini shifts smoothly through its gears. The front and rear subframes have been fully repainted and rebuilt with new brake parts, the rubbers and shock absorbers are new. The Molton cones have been replaced, a High Low kit has been installed at the rear, and the engine is fitted with new cooling, hoses, fan and a revised radiator.
Exterior
The paint has a metallic layer, which was original with this trim and color; the Mini shows signs of use commensurate with its age and mileage. The wheels have been silver-painted, the tires are in good condition (Yokohama A539), the bumpers, rubbers, windshield and chrome parts are all very neat. Fitted with 2 new stainless steel driving lights (not connected). The Mini has original Cooper badges, laurels and wing badge, plus two Union Jack badges on the A-pillars, a Monte Carlo rally sticker on the back and an original Mini Cooper S sticker on the side window (Unique!). A very nicely maintained Cooper in a stunning color combination.
Interior
Original black fabric Cooper seats, matching rear seat, neat original door panels, and an original new walnut Cooper dashboard with 3 green clocks and matching walnut gear knob. The Mini has front and rear seat belts, and the car comes with 1 set of keys. The black carpet is neat and the Mini has 4 new mats with the CooperW logo.
Mechanical
Original smoothly running 1275cc engine with over 63BHP, with a 4-speed manual gearbox. Fully rebuilt in 2024. Everything well maintained! The engine runs smoothly and the engine bay is tidy and well maintained! The brakes are very good, brake discs, pads, cylinders, lines, etc. have been replaced. The suspension is fitted with new rubbers and original shock absorbers, and new brake linings.
Chassis
A solid underbody, fitted with original sills, the underbody parts are in good used condition. The battery box and edges are rust- and damage-free with only minor surface rust in places.
