Description from the seller

Elegant pair of wall sconces in chiselled and gilded bronze dating from around the 1900s, in the Louis XVI style.

They feature a refined decoration of torches, ribbons and garlands with two twisted arms of light supporting bobèches with fluted decoration.

The chasing is fine and well preserved, with a beautiful old patina. The gilding, probably original mercury gilding, is still partially visible.

In good condition.

Monogrammed on the reverse, probably by the bronzier.
