Two-volume Dutch edition Moderne kunst by Hans Werner Holzwarth, hardback binding, published by TASCHEN in 2011, 800 pages with hundreds of illustrations, covering 1870–2000, illustrated and Kunstgeschiedenis, language Dutch, in very good condition, 32 × 25 cm, complete with original cassette.
Description from the seller
This complete two-part cassette Modern Art from the TASCHEN publisher covers the main movements and artists from 1870–2000. The first part covers the period 1870–1944, with attention to impressionism, post-impressionism, cubism, expressionism, dada and surrealism. Artists such as Monet, Cézanne, van Gogh, Kandinsky, Picasso and Dalí are explored in depth. The second part focuses on the period 1945–2000 and covers art after World War II, including abstract expressionism, pop art, minimal art, conceptual art and contemporary trends, with big names like Pollock, Warhol, Rothko, Lichtenstein and Hockney.
This Dutch edition was released in 2011 by TASCHEN and is no longer in print, making the complete cassette in good condition increasingly hard to find. With more than 1000 pages and hundreds of illustrations, this work forms a comprehensive reference on the modern art history of the last century and a half. The Dutch-language edition in two parts is only limitedly issued and is little offered today. Therefore this is a sought-after and rare complete copy, especially with the original cassette.
This item is carefully packaged and shipped with a track-and-trace code.
