NASTY (born 1975) created Graffiti Scratch, a 50 by 50 cm offset print on Conqueror Connoisseur 300 g paper, hand-signed, edition 38/100, dated 2025, produced in France, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
NASTY is a landmark figure of graffiti and street art, alongside Richard Orlinski, Miss Tic, Chanoir, Obey, Jef Aérosol, Seth or Keith Haring.
He started painting on walls in 1988 at the age of 13. Influenced by New York graffiti and the hip-hop movement, he quickly made a name for himself through his activity in the Paris metro and on the walls of the capital. Bright colors and simple letters are nourished by his interest in calligraphy. In 1990, he joined the group Artiste En Cavale (AEC).
He began exhibiting in 1992, alongside JonOne and Psychoze.
Combining his street work with his gallery evolution, he revisits here the plan of the Paris metro in a work created especially for a charitable operation aimed at children. As in each of his printed works, he recalls his origins as a street artist by graffitiing his name.
Subject and preferred support, NASTY reconstituted in 2011 a Paris metro station in the prestigious Galerie Hélène Bailly.
Offset print on Conqueror Connoisseur 300 g paper.
