French mid‑century wall sconce in brass with a turquoise perforated metal backplate, three adjustable conical lamps, 35 cm wide, 45 cm high, 10 cm deep, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Wall light design from the 1950s – brass and turquoise perforated metal – 3 lights – Arlus / Lunel style
Description
Superb vintage wall light from the 1950s-1960s with a design typiquement mid-century modern.
The luminaire features an elegant brass structure composed of three slender arms terminated by orientable conical shades. The unit is mounted on a turquoise-lacquered perforated metal backplate, forming a decorative background very characteristic of post-war French modernist design.
This type of luminaire was produced by several renowned French houses such as Arlus or Lunel.
The asymmetrical composition and the combination of brass with the colored perforated plate give this piece a very graphic style close to the “atomic” design of the 1950s.
Original electrical equipment equipped with modern energy-saving bulbs
