Greek blackware askos vessel with crescentic body, a loop strap handle on the back and short cylindrical neck with disc rim. Smooth glazed surface. Exquisite.

Material: Terracotta
Culture: Greek, Campanian, c. 4th - 3rd Century B.C.
Condition: Intact
Provenance: Previously with Charles Ede Ltd. 1995 #1316, .ex Bellmans auctions, London.
