Christaphora, Sunflowers (after Vincent), a hand-signed impressionist still‑life lithograph from the 1990s (edition 20/200), in good condition, 42 × 42 cm framed, origin Netherlands, sold by Galerie.
Description from the seller
This is a modern interpretation of the world-famous painting by Vincent van Gogh.
Christophora creates art that radiates energy right away. Her works stand out for the use of bright colors, playful shapes, and a light, optimistic atmosphere. They seem almost to buzz with movement and joy, as if inviting you to look without prejudice and let yourself be carried away for a moment.
Color is not decoration at Christophora, but the heart of her visual language. Through contrasting tones and a free composition, works arise that are cheerful and accessible, yet carefully built. Her art balances spontaneity and control, making each piece feel both light-footed and thoughtful.
Dimensions of the work with frame: 42 x 42 cm
Dimensions of the work without frame: 38 x 31 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore, we use restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
