A well-preserved, large and fully articulated Mosasaurus paddle section measuring approximately 60 cm in height and 30 cm in width. The specimen retains a clear series of metacarpals/metatarsals and phalanges, forming the functional flipper that powered this apex predator through. Found in the phosphate deposits of Khouribga, Morocco, this fossil is 70 million years old. The bones are naturally arranged, giving the piece a striking, almost hand-like appearance without feeling overly reconstructed.
