Raro gioco erotico ottocentesco aristocratico – Ruota dipinta a mano su rame – Esemplare unico
 straordinario e insolito oggetto ludico di ambito privato, databile alla seconda metà del XIX secolo: una raffinata ruota erotica realizzata artigianalmente, probabilmente destinata a un contesto aristocratico e riservato.

L’opera è costituita da una base circolare in legno tornito (diametro complessivo ruota cm 29), finemente lavorata e arricchita da applicazioni decorative in bronzo dorato a motivo floreale e stellato.

Sulla sommità è applicato un disco in rame, suddiviso in spicchi, ciascuno dei quali ospita dipinti originali eseguiti a mano, raffiguranti scene e posture di carattere erotico in stile ottocentesco. Le miniature mostrano una mano pittorica colta, con richiami iconografici alla tradizione libertina europea.

Il meccanismo è semplice ma efficace: una leggera spinta imprime alla ruota un movimento rotatorio che si arresta casualmente su uno degli spicchi illustrati, determinando così la “posizione” selezionata. Il perno centrale e il piccolo indicatore metallico superiore completano l’ingegnoso sistema.
