Description from the seller
Corneille (1922–2010) was a co-founder of the CoBrA movement and an important innovator in postwar art. His work evolved from abstract to figurative, with recurring themes such as birds, women and flowers. This colorful screen print is a fine example of his later style.
Viewing is possible. We have our own in-house framing workshop (celebrating its 85th anniversary) and work with recognized restorers (Restauratoren Nederland). Please feel free to contact us via our website.
