Anton Heyboer, Danseres, a mixed technique abstract work, original edition, from the Netherlands, dating to the 1980–1990 period, signed, 45 x 35 cm framed.
Description from the seller
Due to his unusual lifestyle, Anton Heyboer belonged to the most eccentric Dutch artists of the past decades. His turbulent life was reflected in five marriages. He also described himself as 'the Robin Hood of the art world', referring to his prolific output. Heyboer was trained as a mechanical engineer. After World War II he began drawing, albeit still in a traditional style. Between 1954 and 1957 he developed his own philosophical framework on the basis of which his abstract artworks originated. Yet in his paintings and etchings there are always figurative elements present. He also clarified the themes of his work with texts, in which human relationships often play a role.
Dimensions: 26 x 19 cm
Dimensions with frame: 45 x 35 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore we work with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
