Anton Heyboer, Danseres, a mixed technique original edition hand-signed artwork from the 1980s, measuring 45 × 35 cm including the frame, originating in the Netherlands and sold by Galerie.
Description from the seller
Due to his unusual lifestyle, Anton Heyboer belonged to the most eccentric Dutch artists of the past decades. His turbulent life was expressed in five marriages. He also described himself as 'the Robin Hood of the art world', referring to his high artistic output. Heyboer was trained as a mechanical engineer. After World War II he began drawing, albeit still in a traditional style. Between 1954 and 1957 he developed his own philosophical framework on the basis of which his abstract artworks were created. Yet his paintings and etchings always retain figurative elements. Heyboer also clarified the themes of his work with texts, in which human relationships often play a role.
Dimensions: 26 x 19 cm
Dimensions with frame: 45 x 35 cm
Viewing is of course possible. In addition we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore we use restorers from the industry association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be glad to hear from you.
