Elegant Napoleon III table lamp in onyx, bronze, and champlevé enamel.

A superb French table lamp characteristic of late 19th-century luxury production, specifically the Napoleon III period (circa 1880-1890). This piece features a central stem of natural Algerian onyx, prized at the time for its warm hues, veined and translucent—a hallmark of the late 19th-century Neoclassical and Eclectic taste. The stem is surmounted by a bronze structure. The mounts (base, capital, and plinth) are finely chased in gilt bronze. The champlevé enamel with geometric and floral motifs on the base and capital is an indicator of high quality, a technique often associated with Parisian workshops specializing in fireplace fittings and prestigious lighting fixtures. The lamp retains its original canvas shade, which provides a soft light and an authentic period appearance.

It is in very good overall condition, as shown in the photos.
