Description from the seller
This abstract work was created by Yvonne Boelens. She graduated in 1999 from the Amsterdam University of the Arts and has since worked in various studios. Her drawings and paintings have been exhibited in galleries in Amsterdam and beyond. Between 2004 and 2008 she ran her own gallery, where she presented not only her own work but also contemporary art by other domestic and international artists. In addition, she ran two other galleries, developed creative concepts, collaborated with well-known names in the art world, and taught (nude) figure drawing and painting to both companies and private individuals.
As a contemporary artist, Boelens focuses on abstract patterns. Her paintings are carefully composed, with particular attention to texture, color contrasts, form, and line. Her work has been shown internationally, including at the NL/JP Friendship Art Exhibition “Window to the World” in the Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture, where she represented the Netherlands. Works by her are in various private and corporate collections.
Viewing is of course possible. The list will be included, but damage to the frame will not be reimbursed. In addition, we have our own in-house framing shop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore, we work with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. The status only applies to the work. If you would like to use this, please let us know.
