Frans Clement (born 1941) created the oil painting Edith (1981), a Realism work hand-signed by the artist, measuring 190 x 120 cm, from the Netherlands, sold with frame by Galerie, an original edition from the 1980s.
Description from the seller
Oil painting by Frans Clement (1941). In the painting Edith stands before a light-blue background, wearing a white top, short denim jeans and white fringe boots. The pose is more provocative: hand on hip, chin slightly raised. Clement blends the style of a fashion portrait with personal intimacy, capturing a reflection of the era in the 70s/80s.
This artwork comes from the Eindhoven Museum collection. In the context of the transition to Museumpark Vonk, selected works are being disposed of so the museum can fully focus on the history and identity of Eindhoven.
Dimensions: 190 x 120 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. Additionally we have our own in-house frame-making workshop, celebrating its 85th anniversary year. We also make use of restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to utilise this service, of course we would be happy to hear from you.
