Beautiful etching and drypoint on handmade paper by Walter Valentini; an Ante litteram specimen, these pieces are sought after.

Like the plates, the graphic works are not smooth surfaces: with a refined dry-etching technique, Valentini presses the paper so that the drawing remains raised above the plane. The subjects of these engravings are the same as those of the plates; only the technique varies: ranging from aquatint to etching to drypoint.
